THG recently reviewed several TI-4200 128MB AGP 4X video cards.

In this review, they found the Abit Silutro TI-4200 to be the quietest at 30 DbA. Some time has past, and now I'm ready to buy a video card. I am running a quiet pc, and it is more important that I purchase a quiet video card instead of the latest and greatest. I noticed, however, that the new Abit Silutro TI-4200 AGP 8X uses a different heat-sink fan.

My question is, does anyone know if this fan is as quiet? If not, or if that answer is hard to come by, does anyone have recommendations?

;) Unless you get OTES diffs are VERY small so I wouldn't get overly hung up on it. If you want quiet try a Rad9000PRO as they can reportedly run stock without a fan, but of course you're pretty far behind GF4TI4200 perf. The Rad9500 should be pretty cool running, a bit of modding or underclocking of any gfx card other than the top of the line ones should enable you to run quieter. Here's some more 4200 roundups ...

I hear my powersupply over my video card so it doesn't matter to me. -JC
