A quick census of ATOT

I am spiritual. Being religious is not a always a good thing.

No offense, but can somerone clarify the difference between 'religious' and 'spiritual' -- it kindof seems like a copout. If one is not a member of a certain faith, doesn't that make them agnostic, just as much as someone who is unsure of god's existance? Not indended to be a flame, maybe I misunderstand the term 'spiritual.'

The way I explain the difference:

If you are religious then the act of worship is more important than the object of worship. If you are spiritual then the object of worship is more important. From what I know about God, God favors the spiritual believer over the religious believer. It's all about the relationship.

according to my history classes, spiritual means you believe in certain supernatural forces...for example, every living creature (including trees and such) has a soul and is sentient. the Indians were spiritual. the line is fuzzy between religious and spiritual. (feel free, anyone, to correct me if i'm wrong)

If this is the def'n used in the poll, then I voted wrong.

While I don't doubt that's a definition for spiritual that's not the definition used by mainstream believers of God.
