Why discuss the topics of "body roll" and "cornering" and performance in general when it comes to sub-$20k cars that we 18 to 23 year olds are most likely to purchase? Doesn't that strike you as somewhat ridiculous?
Person 1: "My Corolla can wipe the floor with your Civic in cornering."
Person 2: "D00d no way, if I do a NSX engine swap you're dust!!!11"
I mean, come on. Sure, horsepower is one thing - engine power and acceleration are safety features when you get right down to it. But cornering ability? I doubt many here are going to be taking our cars to Nurburgring anytime soon.
My name is sully, and I drive a 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE. I have never measured my 0-100 km/h time, because I know in advance that my car is slow. I don't know why people discuss performance concerns in sub-$20k cars. They're commuter vehicles, save a very few exceptions. Realize.
