A question for Lian Li Owners...

Looking at the Power Supply mounting bracket on my Lian Li's- it looks pretty flimsy. I see there are ridges inside the case but i'm just wondering how you find this mounting mechanism?

I assume all is well because i havent seen it mentioned anywhere

I've had 2 power supplies in my PC60 case. The second is a Enermax 365. Both the generic and the enermax fit easily and snuggly. I had absolutley no problems installing either of them. The face plate that holds the PS works very well. I had read some reports that said the Enermax, or maybe it was another 2 fan PS, was difficul to install, something about removing the inside fan grill. Bit, mine fit in with no problems at all. Overall its a great case and i would highly recommend it.

When I first took off the backing plate, I was a bit concerned but when you slide the PSU in, none of the weight is actually on the plate. The PSU rests on the "ridges" and it works fine. I did have to remove the bottom fan grill on my enermax and reinstall it after the PSU was in.

Thanks guys, thats what i was guessing.

I'm getting the 350W Enermax for them so it should be a pretty kickass setup

Damocles...

That extra fan on the PS, in the LIAN Li pc60 case is just above the cpu on my asus cuv4x MB. I switched to a thermalright AK6 with the stock fan that came with it (i dont know the brand, but its very good), and now my CPU runs 1 degree C above the motherboard temp. And that temp is from both the asus probe software, AND SiSoft SANDRA. Currently on a normal day, without the a/c in my office, i'm running at 29 C (motherboard) and 30 C cpu. With SETI@home running for 30 minutes the max temp only reaches 33 C.

If your gonna O/C, this case and PS set up is gonna give u lots of room 🙂

I also have an Enermax 365 Whisper in my PC-60, and it fits fine, although I did have to remove the bottom fan grill to fit it through the hole in the case. I'm very happy with the setup, anyway. 🙂
