I just finished watching this movie, and I didn't understand the deal with the girl at the end on the train, wearing the ring? I'm pretty sure the ring was a different ring then the first time he saw her.

Can anyone explain this part? What did it mean?

at the end, she only had an engagement ring on.
did he or did he not follow her? that is the question.

the question is whether he followed her the second time? First time he did but she got away. If he followed her with a wedding ring on why wouldn't he follow her with an engagement ring?
