A question about burning software..

I have a computer that can't get it's burner to work. Nero won't recognize the burner, neither will Easy CD Creator.

The drivers for the burner are installed, and I can still burn data CD's with the built-in Windows burner, but Nero nor Easy CD Creator will work.

Anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this? If you need anymore information, ask away.

Are you using older versions of Nero and/or EasyCD? You may need to upgrade to a newer version in order for either program to recognize the burner.

Not using the newest versions.

I'll try upgrading them and trying it out. Thanks for responding
