A query about cabinet's audio output (front) vs motherboard's (rear)

My cabinet is a Cooler Master 690II Plus version, and you can see the motherboard in my signature, I have always used the front audio ports of the cabinet, just because the rear end is unreachable with my headphone unless I use an extended cable. Suddenly I was thinking yesterday that the front audio ports are cabinet's but motherboard's output, so is there any chance that if I use the rear audio ports, which are of motherboard, there could be a better sound output? I mean quality wise?

Thanks in advance.

Unless you are noticing distortion, then no, they would be exactly the same for standard 2-channel output.

It depends on the quality of wiring and port the case manufacturer has used. Theoretically it does but IRL it doesn't unless you have a really high end sound card

No, I don't have a sound card, I simply use a rather cheap amp, FiiO E11, and I use a headphone always, don't even have any speaker system, and software is obviously the default Realtek HD audio manager with 7.1 channel option ticked.

Thanks for the replies, I'll stick with front port. I know it depends on the wiring quality, that's why I mentioned the cabinet model specifically.

There have been some reports that headphones work best from the rear jack if you are using a stereo jack. Differs for every motherboard and set of headphones. USB headphones may have different results.
