I'm in the process of making some sort of newsletter for the whole of TA.
In the setup a number of categories are taken into account, amongst them:

Ranking in Seti: TA
Ranking in OGR-25: /. - TA - DPC
Ranking in GF: TA
Milestonemakers for RC5
Milestonemakers for Seti per week
Milestonemakers for OGR-25 per week
Milestonemakers for GF per week
Activities by TA - members
Topics RC5 on TA-forum
Topics RC5 on DPC-forum
Topics Seti on TA-forum
Topics OGR on TA-forum
Topics OGR on DPC-forum
Topics GF on TA-forum
Linux and Crackrack info on TA-forum
Other interesting topics
In the beginning not all topics are covered, but in time I want all topics filled, especially the rankings and milestonemakers for all projects. This will be a gradual process. My idea about this is: Let's start small and build on that.
I realize (and I hope you do too), I can't do is on my own. I need input for (at least) the regular things, like the milestonemakers. If needed I hope some people will volunteer from the appropriate project to send me the data on a weekly basis.
This should give some incentive for future assimilations, since interested people (not only active members, but also their relatives and friends) will be kept up-to-date about the achievements on a weekly basis. The regular newsletter is scheduled to be sent for monday. This, because it is the most convenient time for me.
Bi-monthly, I want to sent out a special bulletin, in which all weblinks and other means of communications (IRC, ICQ) are mentioned.
When everything is working out the way I planned, The public anouncement will be made before the end of november.
I have a small proof-reader group (the honoured members of my MiniTeam The Federation

and two other friends, whom, I know, will give me constructive remarks) right now. I have asked them to give comments and remarks. The first newsletter is scheduled for next monday, but only layout and regular content will be in that one.
You will hear from me on this one very soon, within the next month.
Also directions for subscribing and HTML-code for placing on the various websites of TA will be made public then.
Another idea that is growing, is the contacting of the old and '400 less active' members. Don't know exactly, but some thoughts are coming as I work on the letter. I promise, the increase in blocks and active numbers will be noticable in time and no one will talk of spam and such afterwards.
CU, Peter.
