Hey,

was wondering if there are any good online prep guides for A+ certification out there- ones that you would recommend. I found one at cramsession.com and another at studynotes, but was wondering if you all had one that you would recommend.

thanks

edit: please move this post if it is in the wrong place- my apologies if it is

I like the one's by Mike Myers. His A+ Guide to Computer Hardware and A+ Guide to Operating Systems. They include a CD and online resourses.

In case you weren't aware: there's supposed to soon be 2 added exams, for a total of 4, in order to pass the revised A+ exams.
Mike Myers gave a presentation in Orlando, FL about this; the video may still be on bittorrent somewhere.

If you visit the CompTIA website you can find the objectives for the upcoming changes. It is an entire revamp of the test. I'm sure they are going to make it more based on real world situations, still and but all of the newer technologies as opposed to IRQs and what have yous.
