This latest escalation began NOT when two Israeli soldiers were captured but when Israel dropped missiles on civilians on a Gaza beach. That incident led to the capture of the first Israeli soldier and the two others.

Umm.. Lets forget about that fact being in dispute (beach incident). What is not in dispute is at that time Palestinains were launching rockets from Gaza into Israel. Israel retaliated by launching some back.

So, yeah it's pretty much all Israel's fault :disgust:

Assuming the shell was israel's dispite evidence that it wasn't why wouldn't the shelling of a family on the beach be all israels fault?

Now Israel begins full scale warfare against Lebanon, tells civilians to flee Southern Lebanon, then incinerates them.

Who are the terrorists?

Israel kills 32 in air strikes

Reuters

BEIRUT - Israel killed at least 32 civilians on Saturday, including 15 children, in air strikes meant to punish Lebanon for letting Hizbollah guerrillas menace the Jewish state's northern border.

Israel's bombing of Lebanese roads, bridges, ports and airports, as well as Hizbollah targets, is its most destructive onslaught since its 1982 invasion to expel Palestinian forces.

An Israeli missile incinerated a van in south Lebanon, killing 20 people, among them 15 children, in the deadliest single attack of the four-day-old campaign launched by Israel after Hizbollah captured two of its soldiers and killed eight.

Police said the van was carrying two families fleeing the village of Marwaheen after Israeli loudspeaker warnings to leave their homes.

And just why do you think they where shelling Gaza? I wonder if it had something to do with the constant rocket attacks from Gaza?

Shelling civilians on beaches. Shelling civilians heeding Israeli warnings fleeing their homes.

Nice.

I?m not condoning the Gaza beach attack (though the source of the bomb is in dispute). I?m just saying there is action and reaction. Look when Israel pulled out of Gaza last year the slate should have been wiped clean. We all remember the synagogues being ransacked and burned after that (and you see what happens when you draw a picture of Mohammad). That?s beside the point. That was a historic, friendly and peaceful gesture and the rocket attacks should have seized to exist at that point but they only increased. Israel had no other choice than try to halt the attacks by force.

You're obviously busy spreading pro-terrorists propaganda here. It has been proven that Israel was not responssible for the 'shelling on the beach', now that's a fact.
Another fact is that the arabs have been blowing up busses and malls full of civilians here way before any shelling has occoured, so wtf are you talking about?!
The first violence in the region here as always been initiated by arabs. You obviously have no idea of what you're talking about, so instead of spreading terrorists propaganda here, justyfying the killing of innocent civilians, why won't you just shut up?!

Maybe if some of your close family will have a "close" encounter with a suicide bomber you will have a different perspective on things. When that happens you will have only yourself to blame for supporing these maniacs.
