what is the FAA doing about all flight in the air? making them land at the nearest airport which can accomdate them??

According to CBS, they had a camera crew outside the pentagon, setting up to do an interview about the WTC thing, and they watched the plane hit.
 
According to both television channels I'm flipping between, it is confirmed that a plane has crashed into the Pentagon; there's a second report that either a plane or bomb has also destroyed the helipad at the Pentagon, but there's no way to tell what's happening specifically - smoke is pouring out of the area.

I agree. Terrorism is an idiot policy. I've never seen any terrorist act have any positive effect. There is no way any such acts can gain my sympathy for their cause. In fact, it makes me against whatever cause they are commiting these cowardly acts for. It fills me with anger -- right now I want to kill every single one of these god**** bastards who commited this act.
