Might not that expose the SSD to the possibility of EMI?

I think NE has a sale on compressed air... ;)

Personally, I would velcro it to the HDD cage or something... I don't like it proped up against another device.

I like your GPU, though!

Yeah....

Mine's in a hard drive bay.

I tried the "improvised" mounting thing once upon a time. Managed to destroy a computer just moving it from shelf A to shelf B. Power supply came dismounted and the video card caught it. (Well, the PSU was fine...)

Now, if it the money situation means it comes down to either buying the awesome++ version or the merely awesome version and the proper mounting hardware and accessory package, I go with the latter.

it is a known fact that dust is attracted to awesome.

also why not velcro it to the inside of your hard drive bays??

or on the back of the motherboard tray?

I'm impressed! Whoever is vacuuming the carpet ought to clean the inside of the PC. :p

I had mine hanging out in my cases floppy area. I ended up screwing it in on just one side after about a year and a half when we moved.

How close is the radiator exhaust to the wall? Maybe after a while it will make your wall look like this:

Guys its on purpose, his computer was purchased as a air filter for the room. That is just how he understood the advice we gave him.
