A Paypal Question

So I sold something on eBay and the buyer paid me with an echeck. Normally, I wouldn't have a problem, but he decided that he would rather pay another way. So my question is, is how do I/ we cancel an echeck payment that hasn't cleared his bank yet?

go to history, and then refund him the echeck and it should go right back to his bank account

Now does this mean that if I was refunding him WITH an echeck and it didn't clear they would take it from my paypal account, or if I'm refunding HIS echeck and it doesn't clear from his bank then they take if from my account?

if you refund him with an echeck and it dosent clear they take the money from your paypal.

Wait for the eCheck to clear. After it has cleared, go to the transaction details. There should be a 'refund' option...click it. 🙂
