Agreed.

This is a stupid scam.

I couldn't tell you the disorder the painter has but here is my perspective.

If you remove everything from the picture you get what seems to be a seren, quiet, place. This may imply that it is in fact, Heaven.

The professor did not say that removing everything would give you the "Answer" as it was just a clue.

Now putting everything back in its place, you notice the three sleighs each with four people on them. Looking at the "drivers" of the sleigh, they are all wearing hats with two points, this could be a symbol for horns and that the "Drivers" are actually the Devil's servants who went to Heaven to take the sinners to Hell. You will also notice that the only people wearing black are also the only people on the sleigh, symbolzing their impurity. The passengers are quiet and seem to know their fate, knowing what they've done and are now being punished for it. The horses, too, seem to be possessed or evil. The sleighs also seem to be going downhill or "Down" to hell.

Now if you look at the upper right hand corner you will notice a very inconsistent move by the painter of the new painting, the building has more windows than its yellow counter-part and the lights that are off seem to resemble a "7" (Which rhymes with Heaven), this may reinforce the Heaven perspective as God rested on the 7th day, there are 7 deadly sins, 7 virtues, and the number 7 is perfect (As in the Bible).

Again, this whole thing may be a huge hoax but it's interesting to analyze something nonetheless, and to see what others have come up with on their own. =)

Ive been reading along and some of these theories are interesting. It's kind of creepy trying to view this painting as an insane person would. I hope its not a hoax, just because its been entertaining reading AT's theories/trying to come up with my own, but it most likely is.

I'm curious what the answer is, but now I'm also curious how you have 10580 posts and are still a diamond member?

Something to do with not remembering details? ?or memory loss, possibly short term memory loss. Notice that the houses on both sides of the painting are the same shape overall, just some minute details are different.

Compare the houses on both sides of the painting:

-Look at the brown house, the house is the same shape on both sides but the windows are a different shape and color.

-The yellow building is taller on one side with different windows.

-The small light green house in the background of the left side is light brown on the right side.

Also the perspective is messed up, compare both sides:

Compare the position of the brown house and yellow building relative to the small light green house in the background, in both the left and right sides of the painting. If you compare the left and right sides it appears that the viewer walked a few degrees around the brown house, but the perspective never changed for the light brown/green house!

Mathematics Disorder?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematics_disorder

My psych professor told me about a disorder where the person think everyone he sees is a double. You can run into him in the mooring on the bus and then see him in class in the afternoon and he will think that there are two of you. Other than that the person is normal.

also, word is that the correct answer is supposedly the snowman theory [one of which, i guessed, though i threw so much out there i was bound to get lucky :lol] but that is one of the theories i really elaborated on.

now the look on the kids faces all looking directly at him all make sense. [note that they don't do this on the original, so there was a conscious effort to change that on Insane's part]

But there's still a snowman in the upper left side near the house.

The person who painted this has fear of not being loved. See how everyone is looking at him? He's scared they'll see him as a monster. See how none of the houses have doors? He fears he isn't welcome. See how the snow is barely touched? He fears no-one will acknowledge his existence. See how the sled moves away from him? He fears everyone will leave without him.

That's his phobia, if you ask me :).

Xanthophobia- Fear of the color yellow

or

chionophobia - fear of snow

or chronophobia - fear of time, since everything repeats on the left side. Notice there is a fence by the brown house on the left and a tree is missing

He said air and water are a clue? Probably means he has aquaphobia.

He fears drowning when the snow melts that?s why the houses are not touching the snow. The sleds are touching the snow though and so are other characters in the painting
