mmmm... the fresh taste of the listerine mouthwash that I use after brushing my teeth. :p

<-- is trying to install Gentoo again after his computer locked up a few days ago and fvcked up the virtual machine that I was installing it on the first time.

Whats "emerge sync"?
emerge sync simply downloads about 40,000 small scripts that can be used to download and compile just about any program ever written for Linux; all of these are downloaded, whether you plan to use them or not. Once that is done, then I must download the sourcecode for GCC and other stuff (40MB worth), then the kernel (20MB) then a bunch of other misc. crap (probably over 100MB). It's a fvcking PITA on dialup, trust me. :disgust:
