I'm getting 30KB/s... My connection is crappy but I usually get 60KB/s give or take...

Also downloading now. 2.86 MB/Sec. That took all of 2 minutes to download. Man I love the connection at work....

Edit: This is taking almost 3x longer to transfer on to my thumbdrive than it took to download.

i cant even install the damn thing. Anybody know of a work around, always something like that out there. And no, i cant buy xp when it cost $160 and my 2000 is not lacking in any way. I'm so bumed. this deservers a

Nice... servers might be getting hit a bit hard now, as my roomie is barely getting 40k/sec on the same connection as me.

Have you even tried it? Sometimes they say requires XP when it works w/ 2000 once you try it.

i tryed it, didnt even know it required XP(which is in fact Bologna), it exits the installer once it finds out that ur running 2000

I got my copy of XP a year and a half ago for 98$. Check Hot Deals?

Well, main thing being, i never wanted to upgrade, and i also never had a need to. I guess this would be the first time it has bit me in the ass.

Well, main thing being, i never wanted to upgrade, and i also never had a need to. I guess this would be the first time it has bit me in the ass.

If you really plan on upgrading to XP, look for a cheap copy of XP Home. It's pretty much the same as Pro for most users. I managed to get copies for my dad and my brother for less than $50 each on FS/FT.

Well it is a Microsoft game demo so there's no reason they can't require a certain OS. Just because the Demo requires XP doesn't mean that the final game will.

I surprised it didn't require Windows Vista. :laugh:
