A note to STAR TREK fans

I'm still pissed off that Deep Space Nine got cancelled. To those fans who have more inside knowledge, what happened?

I like DS9 more than Voyager. What do you all think?

This is not a new issue here but you are quite right. DS9 was great in many ways. Didnt like Captain Cisco though. He is supposed to be such a great actor and I thought he just overdid everything.

No one will ever come up with better characters than the Ferrengi. Love those guys and the Dabo girls too.

As for what happened, who knows, Maybe one of the "Rules of Acquisition" got in the way.

I never liked DS9 much. I enjoyed a few of them long 2-hour specials, but overall I didn't like the show and the acting on the most part.

I much prefer The Next Generation, and even Voyager, over DS9. I think Voyager sucks though. Think about it... They're never getting home, period. Once they get home, the show is over. So what's the point? You know they'll never get home (unless they make a final/ending episode), so who cares? I get bored of watching a bunch of crappy episodes. All the Voyager episodes suck (mostly)!

At least with Picard, he blew up things, and he's a good actor. I find Janeway to be a pretty bad actress, for that part at least. Janeway doesn't DO anything... She just talks.

Kirk and Picard were the best captains and lead the best shows.

The best part about DS9, IMO, were the parts with the Dominion War. I watched the last half hour of the second part of the series finale (damn local station had it on at 4:00PM central on Saturday:|) and I thought it SUCKED. It had the worst acting and plot of any Star Trek episode I've seen (I haven't watched Voyager much, though).

From what I've heard, the next movie will have the cast of TNG. There is supposedly another series in preproduction as well. According to rumors it will take place in Starfleet Academy, but I have no idea if that's true or not.

TNG was is still is the best Star Trek series ever made (besides the original). Captain Picard, Warf, Jordi, Dr. Crusher, Will aka #1, and best of all Data, how can you forget these characters.

And I will always remember Picards most famous words, "Engage"! hehehe, love TNG!

I love Star Trek. TNG and DS9 were good, I don't care for Voyager that much. DS9 got canceled to follow suit with other Star Treks. They all are planned to last 7 years (except the original). So that is why Voyager is ending this year.

Evidently, both male Star Trek Captains suffered from constipation. Kirk was always talking about the "Captain's log" and Picard his "No.2".



Anyway, I never liked DS9 or Voyager all that much. Finally, it seems the actors in Voyager are having a little fun, but the show's logic and quality writing has seriously dropped.

Wasn't the original Star Trek supposed to last 5 years?

Not that DS9 was the GREATEST, but it was still watchable...except that Worf/Dax crap :| Too bad my UPN station decided to keep Voyager and drop DS9 without a word...I missed the finale and most of the last season :|:|:|
