It would interesting to see where next gen GPUs, iGPUs will be on the ladder.

It’s more representative of modern hardware than Time Spy was.

Thanks for that. I had not seen the 4080 super scores yet. My 5800X3D + Pulse 7900XTX with the latest drivers scores right at 69fps nice

I got about 41 fps. For some reason, none of Nomad scores have yet been validated. Occasionally this happens with the other benchmarks.
Something is wrong with their SystemInfo

3DMark stress tests are my goto for making certain any card I buy or sell used, is performing correctly and not having any display issues. And the individual test scores being in the correct range give assurance that the hardware is performing as it should. That's where it's value ends for me. I get some are into the benchmarking scene; respect. But it's not my bag.

The last couple of years your combo has been top notch for bang for buck value in the U.S. Only recently have better combos been readily available to shoppers, outside of MicroCenter anyways.

Been very happy with my combo but I am finding newer games are getting more difficult to run at high settings at native 1440p at reasonable FPS. I don't like to use FSR/DLSS or otherwise play at any non-native resolution as I'm pretty sensitive to their downsides, so I am actually considering an upgrade soon. Probably going to wait and see how AMD's N48 turns out and move up to that if it's a decent value, and then at some point make the move to an 8 core Ryzen or Intel chip.

This is my rx6600 run of the light version, at 1080p.



It's not very impressive at first glance, but what is impressive for me, is that this is the score, with the card overclocked and unlocked to 140W power, instead of the 100W it normally has. It got an almost 10fps increase from stock, which ain't half bad.

I used the light version, because I wanted to compare with my older cards. The GTX 970 OC is around 30fps for reference. So there you have it, the useless information of the day, is that the rx6600 is three times faster than the 970 in this one.

Here is the run in video (non monetized-just for fun) if anyone cares, however it has lower performance because it was recorded on site with shadowplay. Still impressive, that the 970 could pull it off. These are graphics above its generation for sure.

Cinematic experience... Vulkan seems to run tiny bit better than DX12 ( 2934 points).

Gamegpu has published their findings on Steel Nomad and their 6750xt at 1440p is at 53fps.

yes it is. I tested at 4k before. I get 50.66fps at 1440p. 4k is the default for steel nomad. The light version default is 1440p.

In your 1440p graph, the CPU frequency has a pretty serious dip. Thermal throttling? At 1080p, it's fine.
