I don't see how anybody made a cogitant argument during the whole ordeal... I just thought it was a big pissing match.

I live in the south, and this is a very common dillema. Most girls, where I live, are unwilling to date guys that dont come across with the 'confident', 'cock-strong', 'jerk' attitude. If you arent the leader of the pack, they just dont want to be with you. They only want to chase those guys that put up a struggle. It really sux!

give it up...for one thing, he's NOT wrong. yeah, we can argue all day (or weekend, as it is) attempting to catagorize the girls unixfreak gets, but there ARE members of the female gender (women, girls, skanks, sowing the wild oats before settling down-call them what you will) who are attracted to guys who are jerks. The truth is, there is a neverending supply of these girls, including "good" girls who decide to go out looking for a one-night stand after a breakup, fight, whatever.
We can also argue all day (weekend) about how long these relationships last, and whether sexual relations, absent a lasting relationship, are worthwhile-im sure that sometimes they are, sometimes they arent-and that depends on the person, which in turn varies based on their current life situation.

I think it's funny to see girls I went to high school with today. You know the stuck-up, snobby ones that dated the @sshole jock. (Not all jocks were @ssholes.) She usually has a kid on the hip and two or three in tow, and her husband works at the local Jiffy-Mart, if he's working.
Most of them look like hell and weigh about 800 lbs too.
I'll trade my few years of nerdiness in school for my great job, beautiful family and house I have now any day.

Yes and no. You have to associate yourself with the kind of people you want to be involved with, either through organizations, work, or something else. The bar crowd will always be there.

I don't want an asshole... all I want is someone who is willing to put in 50/50 on a relationship...
