I found a very interesting new technology called StreeterNet www.streeternet.com/products. It is based on data propagation amongst devices so each devices is sending on data until it reaches it?s destination.
The most interesting point in this technology is that it does not require any network management, no servers, no registration, no path, no P2P, no ah-hoc hooking.
Yet it enables exclusive and group communication between devices.
Once such devices with free communication are on the market it will become a real threat on mobile service providers. Today the monthly worldwide air-time revenue is 54 $billion. This technology can just have a big bite in that market offering devices with free communication.
