reminds me of the simpsons episode where the vet operates and loses the hamster, then just back tosses him off the wall, into the trash.

im not saying you should, just sharing what popped in my head. personally i think GF should CS some frustration out. it always helps.

That is a good idea bigbootydaddy. Maybe killing some people would make me feel better. And DannyLove, how dare you get her name wrong. In the future, just refer to her as evil or trampy, she answers to those names too. :D

How old were they? Did they act sick before they passed on?? it would be very odd for 2 hampsters to just die out of the blue with no warning.

I'm sorry about your loss :(

I kept hampsters as a kid. I will never forget my first, Ginger. She had this little hut in her cage, and when she didn't feel like seeing visitors she would go into the hut and stuff the front with shavings so you couldn't see in. She would also swing from the bars like an acrobat. She loved treats too. I fed her a piece of cookie once and that was when she first squeaked. After that, whenever she wanted a treat, she'd just ask :)

I'm sorry to hear that, GF.
I just lost one of my beloved budgies on friday. I came in from a long walk with my baby daughter and both of them had somehow escaped their cage and one of them managed to fly out the door. I never caught her, and it snowed that night:(
My other poor little bird has been so despondent that we got him a new friend. So now he's freaked out and pecking the newcomer! geez.
My daughter is still asking where the other "tweet-tweet" is:(

I have to tell my sad tale of hampster woe:

I can't remember how old I was exactly, but I'd have to say middle-school aged. It was Christmas morning and I had gotten my very first very own camera. I was very excited and decided to go take pictures of my hampster, Heidi. She was curled up in the corner sleeping, so I took a picture and decided after that first picture that she was too boring just laying there, so I went to pick her up to get her moving around. That's when I discovered she was stone cold dead. I still have the picture of my dead hampster around here somewhere.

I never did have good luck with small animals. I had two turtles; one ran away and the other committed suicide. I've had better luck with dogs and cats.

My sister buried her hamster when she (the hamster) died. I think I can still find her "tomb" somewhere in our old house.

Guinea pigs are the best pets ever. screw hampster, get some guinea pigs. they're like "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEET" they rule.

<< since he is a man and they are to blame for all things bad >>

I hate guinea pigs, they squeal and annoy me. I will stick to hamsters, they are so cute, I just love to watch them run around.
