You might not hear about it for long. MS is suing them because they say lindows is infringing on their similarly named trademark.

Basically they took some of WINE and slapped it in their own linux distro. The guy that ran mp3.com is the CEO or president or whatever.

What's wrong with that? Cheaper than Windows... I've signed NDA's for my last four jobs (with one in the middle that I didn't have to). What's wrong with signing a NDA?

well, without pics, it seems like they're just bragging about a new type of 'litestep' program. just a gui, using windows shell files.

Nothing, it's just that I don't want to pay that much to test out a 'sneak preview' version. If it's what it claims to be, I'd buy Lindows 1.0.
