What about standard deviations? I think that would provide the most meaningful information. It would tell the user where 75% of the framerates fall.
 
Bovinicus true but i still want to know the frame rates in the game from start to end. Also in the most extreme graphic scenes and heavy fighting scenes. If it drops down to 5 to 15 fps 10% or even 5% during that time then that won't be good at all.
