A Mini Team question

A friend at work has "commissioned" (no $$ for me, but I can piggyback her order with stuff for me and I don't pay shipping :D) and she is agreeable to let me install RC5 on it. Strangely enough, she has no interest in the project or the stats .

Would any of the Mini Teams want me to configure her machine as part of that Mini Team? I like tracking the stats of my own "herd" (MAJOR upgrade in the work, details to follow) individually, so I don't want to use my account. Not sure if ya'll want Team participants that won't engage in the merriment (do Borgs have merriment?) and trash-talking (Borgs got that!).

If more than one wants the flushes, I could just keep track and as I build for others, make sure each team gets one.

BTW, it'll be a Duron600+?/A7V machine.

My personal feelings: As long as it's for TA, I don't really care which mini-team gets them...

I would flip a few coins on that one.....

Remember: TA

Nice thing about the mini-teams is that you don't have to join or anything else...Just enter the client with the e-mail addy and off you go!

Exactly, my biggest fear with folks like my friend is that they will never follow through with the password stuff whereas it is easy to configure to dump into a team account. Others?

I will speak for TWTA. I am sure we would love to get more blocks. The federation has recently passed us and is doing better in dailies. A few more blocks our way might even it up a bit. Congratulations Federalies!

Our addy is anandtechrc5@yahoo.com

Thanks for the offer, I am sure everybody will be happy with whatever you decide. Although, Ray might try his hand at hypnotism again! ;)

JimMc,

I would echo what Engineer said. As long as the blocks go to TA that's what is important.

However, since I know you're a busy man, and that time is a valuable commodity, I think you should click the link that Denis posted.:D

Guys, Guys, Guys, Artemedes is the only one that got the email correct. Sheesh. anandtechrc5@yahoo.com.

It even has Anandtech in the name. What more do you need?

hehehe ;);););)

I agree with the others, the important thing is that the cow is cracking under the Team Anandtech brand! :D

Hmmm, how would we flip coins with more than two mini-teams? A coin-flip-off? hehe. ;)

Those other mini teams sure have long, complicated, hard to remember, time consuming to type eMail addresses.;)

Well, I had considered a contest--a link to a bikini clad, perfect "10" and I would then cast an impartial eye :p over the entries and select a winner. I fear, however, that would give TA Cube (dennilfloss;)) an unfair advantage...

What if I just put all the names in a hat and pick them a la the NFL draft. As I assimilate new folks, I'll add them to each Mini Team in order of their draft position.
