You don't think I could achieve more 300 yard accuracy with a purpose built long-rang AR vs. the LMT .308? I'm by no means an expert on it. And the 3K price tag on the LMT is a little steep but that's a damn fine gun.

300 yards? I thought you wanted a long range gun?

Out to 400m either or would be fine.

Left is my dad on a .308, right is me on a .223. Small target is 200m, big target is 400m, it's a little sloppy because it was a timed event.
