"A Man Apart" starring Vin Diesel & Larenz Tate

I heard yesterday that it sucks. It was actually made before XXX was. One of those movies that the studio had sitting on the shelf because it sucked, then Vin Diesel hit it big so they decided to release it. At least that's what I heard 🙂
 
Bah...I'm waiting for Pitch Black 2: The Chronicles of Riddick.

Vin was awesome in Pitch Black!

it was a fun movie, but it didnt leave a lasting impression.

the trailers made me think damn this looks cool. now im not going to see it.


at most its rentable now i think. oh well. i just saved my self $10


edit.. right now on imdb it has a 5.6
 
I thought it would suck.
The admission price is almost justified by the girl dancing with the mexican in the beggining.

Damn right. Vin was awesome in that movie. Surprisingly good movie because it was just dark and hardcore and not cheesy crap for the most part. I like vin diesel. XXX was a piece of sh*t, but boiler room was awesome and he is a cool actor.

It wasn't sitting on the shelf because it sucked, they were just doing reshoots and other things to get the movie off the ground.

I saw a screening of it and didn't think it was that bad. It was fun to watch, but it wasn't an Oscar winner.

I just saw it... and i actually liked it. I thought it was going to be a really predictable movie, seeing as how it was so obvious his wife was going to die, but it was far from predictable. Lots of turns in the story. Good movie imo.
