A Loss for Seti

I know at first you may think it is a boon for our team, but it is a loss for Seti as a whole.

Bandai has lost a great deal of his fleet 🙁 Link

I would have liked to have defeated DSLR at full strength.

It was a lot of fun watching and waiting for Bandai to flush his WUs each day.

In a funny way I'll miss that... I agree it's a big loss for SETI as a whole. 🙁

I love to win, but not this way, as it is a loss to all of SETI. 🙁

Even though Bandai's flushes were a royal pain during the race 😉, they were amazing. But SETI or any other DC project is NOT worth losing your job over. If the powers that be (however ignorant) say no, then no it is. 🙁

And before TA starts celebrating, I would STRONGLY suggest that we NOT understimate the determination and resources of DSLR. They are NOT quitters, they ARE fierce competitors. 🙂

While they may have lost a huge contributor, there is still plenty of time in this race for them to make up the difference. TA should know that, as we have been working hard to counter Bandai & Stone's flushes ourselves.

So TA must press on less we suffer the fate of the hare.

Damn, I wanted to say what RaySun2Be said, but he already said it. 😉

I'll add this. The same thing could happen to one of our big guns that happened to Bandai. That is why it is so important that we little producers continue to crunch and add to our numbers. We are the rock on which the team is built. Big assimilations come and go. They are things of awesome power and beauty when they are in force but just as one of our "little" crunchers can crash and burn, the big guns operate subject to the laws of nature as do we all.

My regrets to DSLR Team Starfire on their loss of a really awesome "big gun". But they still have Bandai and his fellowship to enjoy. That's the most important thing of all. 🙂
