A little upgrading...perhaps

its a mini-server case, a friend gave me. It's on wheels, and has two sides, ill get the make and model tomorrow. But it has on side for drives and PSU, and one side for mobo and everything else. its a 5 year old case, but works. shaped like a big square

If you're looking to burn some cash, I'd consider a fresh case.
You can get some really nice ones and still not eat up that $150 you have left.
Everyone's taste in aesthetics is different, but two that I like and are way less than $150 are...
* CoolerMaster Storm Scout @ Newegg for $80 shipped
* Antec Nine Hundred @ Newegg for $90 shipped after $20 rebate

Both cases have great air flow and nice features at a good price.

i just wanna make sure that is a better case, the case i have now, is entirely metal. and the wheels make it a breeze to move around.

thats nice also, im not gonna order tonight, here some other opinions on $150 spent, i already have a case, so making a decision for another..would be just...a aesthetic, while i could get some small items, that enhance. ya know?

Any reason for the triple-channel memory kit with a dual-channel build? 6GB is nice, but 4GB is usually plenty - if not, 8GB is better all round 🙂

yeah ^. Since you bought a GTX460, I'll assume this machine is for gaming, so 4GB is plenty. Also, I'd change the SSD (see if you can return it or whatever you want to do with it) for a Corsair Force or the OCZ Agi/Ver 2 with the newer controller. If you want a really nice case, I'd suggest giving Windy a look...they recently started shipping to the U.S. Otherwise, I'd just pick one that you like the most aesthetically.

Aside from the machine, if you are really into your music (like I am 😀), I'd consider getting an audiophile-grade can setup. IMO, It'll trump any speaker setup for the $$ you put into it.

i got another stick of ram, so i'm running 8GB. and i have an Astro Gaming Headset, and MixAmp. So the Best headset you can buy, and i have Sennheiser HD 280 pro's, which sounds fabulous. and the ear cannot hear outside of V0 or 320 encoding. BUT i do love music 🙂 so you think a case eh? thats the general consensus.

those windy cases 🙂 are SHEXY. lol but not 30,000 dollars....lol jk...they are like $350. just gotta remember I am 18, i work at a coffee shop and go to college....lol its hard to save up for superfluous stuff.
