I got all the new parts (cpu/mobo/gfx card) but just yesterday found that my "barebone" vid card requires pci-e power cable adapter, so that will take another week to ship.
New parts will b: opterpwn 146 ($172), dfi nforce4 (refurb $54) and x800xl ($177 + 10 for powercable adapter). Should work fine (displayed error when booting without powercable for x800xl). heheh can't w8 to play cs:source with high details on :D

Strange that a X800XL needs a power cable... The only one I know that must have one, is the PowerColor version... Nonetheless, nice "budget" system... :p

well not really powerful, but 380watt antec PSU should do it right? since a system (i've readsomewhere) with x800xl with max load consumes about 210 watt. I plan 2.4-2.6ghz for stable/cool operation and max out the x800xl

The one that came with the Sonata? With 18 or 24Amps on its 12V rail? Yeah, you should be fine, not the most powerful around, but it will do great... 2.6GHz is no big problem with that mobo and CPU... :p

Lol shiping was quick only 300 miles away, ground shipped in 2 days, but then I messed up a little when setting up nvidia nforce drivers I removed previous ones and installed new at same time, which made one of the files (nvidebus.sys) not installed and windows didnt boot up, so I hooked up my hd to another comp, and copied the missing file to windows/drivers and now fixed, everything working great, im still adjusting settings etc, everything detected correctly etc :p now on to testing/oc :D
