Neff was a previous member who was very concerned with his post count and member status. To raise both he would post one or two word replys in almost every thread on the board. It soon got quite irratating to the members of the board. Eventually his name became associated with the pratice of posting irrelivent or one or two word posts for the only apparent reason of raising a post count.

When one is watching an intersting thread and sees it rise to the top only to find that the post is only a "me too" or "yes" or it is annoying. Many of us are still on modem access and it takes time to load threads.( Cable or DSL is not available, don't even bother suggesting that I switch)

I might be mistaken, but can't you customize it so that the most recent replies are at the top?

I was on a dial up untill a few days ago when I got DSL, and I never had any trouble with any threads here.
