A little help?

Whew, I don't remember the last time I started a topic was 😛

Anyway, I need some help guys. My .ini doesn't consist of all the settings, as I don't have to change them all (some lines are only created when they are actually changed to something other than the default).

Could people list their .ini files, so that I can see a good list of all the options thare the .ini creates? This will help me with a project that I'm working on.

Thanks,

BK

PS - here's my .ini

Sciencewhiz,
It's more out of habit, especially after the PhF:| stuff. I just got in the habit of x'ng it out to prevent spammers/hackers from collecting it. Plus, I didn't think BK needed the email addy for what he was doing.

ALL of my herd is cracking for TWTA! 😀

good point ray. I hate to be paranoid, but I guess I should start too....i've been getting rather large doses of Spam as of late....:|

Shouldn't there be more?

CRV - no, and that's exactly my point. I have a project in mind that will make use of the knowledge of all the specifics of all the settings, or, in some cases like yours, the lack thereof. I don't know when I will be able to finish it, but right now, I'm doing the survey work. After awhile, I'll compile the list, and then everyone will just have to wait and see (though the more astute, or the ones who've thought about it more, might know what it is that I'm thinking of).

Wolf

BurntKooshie,
After looking at the pproxy stats, I discovered that the only cow that showed up as fetching/flushing was the firewall ip. DOH! So I've made some changes to the .INI file

[networking]
keyserver=xxx.xxx.xxx.225:80
firewall-type=
firewall-host=205.239.115.21:80 <----this was left here by the config, it's not used in this setting.
disabled=no
nofallback=true
autofindkeyserver=no

Basically, I set the parm in the Buffers section to Yes for the "Keyserver is a proxy on a protected LAN?

Now the IP addy of the PC will show up in the pproxy logs. 🙂

They will try to do OGR but fail to do so because Fed proxy doesnt have stubs to serve, and fall back to RC5 until it's over.
