I need some guidence on how to change out the DHCP client under redhat. With their new client that they are using (starting with 7 I think) The DHCP server here on campus will refuse to give me an IP address. I talked to the local network guru and he told me to switch back to their old client and it should be fine.
Is this something that I can do with the package manager, or is there something else that I have to do.
This is something strictly with redhat as far as I know because i have no problems with mandrake or debian.
Thanks
