Every now and then I'm surfing around and a little window pops up. It says no connection is currently available. If click on try again everything is fine and the page loads as if there was no problem. Why does this happen? How do I fix it? thanks in advance

check to see if you have the work offline checked...
in IE go to file and see if it is checked..if it is...uncheck it...

It happens because you have not provided enough information. What browser and OS are you using? What kind of connection do you have?

if it is the window i am thinking of (the same one that opened for me whenever i opened winamp) then check your settings in TOOLS-->INTERNET-->CONNECTIONS. I had to switch my dial-up settings to 'never dial a connection. just remember what it was set at before in case it doesn't work.
