copy all the text below and save it as a .reg file then merge it, you can then search google by typing "google <search item>" or translate german or japanese, search kb articles, msdn, whois, and local movies. the movies url you will have to edit.

how do you save as .reg? i checked word2k and notepad, didnt find it

If you edit it in notepad, click File -> Save (as?) then make the file type say "all files" and then type in whatever filename you want .reg

i.e. google.reg, foo.reg, etc.

coolios!! it worked for me in XP 🙂

the only thing i've tried so far is the google search thingie..what other commands can i use with it?

type msdn <search> to search through msdn
type kb to do a search on kb articles
type jpn to do a japanese translation
type german to do a german
type movies to do a search for showtimes
type whois to do a whois search.

Gave me the same message (I named it google.reg then right clicked / merge), guess it doesn't work in 98SE....
Replace "Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00" with "REGEDIT4" (without quotes obviously), then save and try merging again. Worked for me Win98SE. Backup your registry first JIC.

Nifty feature!
type german to do a german
Eh...not so nifty feature! lol!
