Is the overall complex charged or neutral? Hydroxide is actually -1 charged in this case, you're thinking of oxide which is -2. If it's neutral and Co(III), then it would have to be Co(OH)3.

Danm he beat me to it. Yeah that looks right.
Just a little explaniation
Co(III) has a charge of +3. Hydroxide is a polyatomic (sp?) Ion OH-1. So we simple put the cation up there in front and the Anion in the back and we get Co+3OH-1. Sience this isnt balanced we say its Co(OH)3

BOOM!

aluminun sulfide - that's Al2S3 correct?

aluminum's charge +3
sulfur's charge -2
