A hardware I/O occured when opening an image

When I open an image file, I get an error that says:

A hardware I/O error was reported while accessing C:\Blah blah blah\image.jpg

I am using MS Paint to open the jpg.


Anyone know what is wrong, or how to find out what is wrong?
