Major kudos to Adul and the rest of the team. I had been fetching and flushing via email on my laptop, but couldn't get through the firewall at work so I just kept it to one machine.

Adul had the same problem with the same firewall, but he had access to a machine with a modem and an analog line. With the help of others here, he got a pproxy working that would dial-out but was still connected to the WAN.

He added about 5 computers to RC5.

I can see his pproxy no problem, so I've added 5 computers also. I'll probably get upto 10 in total before I'm done.

What a great way to end my day!

The fact that your phone bill shows an ISP phone number may arouse suspicion :(

I see Adul's output yesterday was about 1500, which was his best day ever!

Can't wait to see what it does over the next few days..

Congrats guys.

Great! :D

Just checking, the "weenies" do know about RC5, don't they? They're probably the ones you need to get permission from.

Edit: Oh, it was DanC that posted that message. Never mind. :)

Unless of course the 'weenies' are taking instruction from management...

My 'weenies' are all rc5 geeks. It's great!

I would encourage my prof's at university to run it, but my University has its own team (which sucks), and they have loads of computers that they could run it on. Problem is the computers are wiped regularly. Ah well, my loss.

Since I'm a suit, I'm not too worried about the IT "weenies". I approve their budgets and capital expenditure requests. No toys for them if they're mean. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ....

Oop, read too many Borg threads.

Actually, if they had a serious objection (one based on RC5 being a real threat to security), I would stop in a heartbeat.

ps - if they fire me, I get 10 months pay and 100% of my bonus paid out ....
