Yep, the Market is doing great according to Heartsurgeon in his little world.

How much of Investors money have you scammed???

6-5-2004 Number opf Mutual Funds Shrinking Rapidly

Mergers and liquidations make the funds' overall performance look much better than it actually is. When a fund dies, its record dies with it. And most times, funds that die have rotten records.

for all the elitism that CAD accuses people of, he's one gigantic hypocrite. Even when he has nothing left to stand on for his weak WMD argument he claims that he will NEVER accept the premise that he is wrong. Good lord, that's stubborn.

My portfolio is robust and doing nicely. I have been graced with intelligence, and a gift for what i do, the ability to make a reasonable income, a spouse that has a reasonable income, several great kids (the oldest heading off to Yale! boola-boola!). I have much to be grateful for. Haven't "scammed" anyone. Just plain old hard work and conservative values....the road to success.

Mutual funds? Nah...i prefer individual stocks.

 Why don't you actually try posting something for once instead of your little whining snipes.

Speaking of Elitism, there two of em there for ya
Dave, Dave, Dave! What's so elitist about investing? Dude, after dropping out of college the first time, I started over with $20 from my grandmother and a bus ticket to Knoxville (courtesy of a recruiter) in 1980. Twenty years later, I retired with a pension, a nice stock portfolio and a decent job. Life is what you make it.

Chill out, man. Like I keep telling ya, it'll all comes out in the wash.

I wasn't knocking Investing, only the "crooked" part of Investing that many get away with. Some of them get caught but most don't.

" it'll all comes out in the wash"

Hope you're right, contrary to what you hear by many posters in here, I have not given up.

If I gave up I wouldn't be posting about Tyranny and News.

Go Vols, way to go, glad to hear a sucess story from the ground up that nothing was handed to you.
