The guy is an indie developer himself and the last few minutes are a plug for his own game and how he found the right engine for it. Nothing earth shattering but the game does have nice sound effects and music.
I personally think that we lost two great programmers, John Carmack and Tim Sweeney, who were laser focused on delivering good gaming performance. Both of them have stopped coding game engines themselves. Carmack is doing some general artificial intelligence thing and Tim Sweeney is so rich that he probably doesn't even touch code anymore.
