N+, Final Fantasy 4, GRiD, From The Abyss, MLB Power Pros 2008, and now Spore Creatures.

I can confirm all of these new games pretty much kick ass, especially MLBPP2008 and FF4. Will definitely get me through those slow days at work for weeks to come.

*kisses his DS*

MLB 08 The Show (PSP) > Power Pros 2K8 (DS). The change from 2D to 3D toons is really lame. And they stripped a shit load of stuff on the NA version from the JPN version.

How are you finding GRiD?

Are there any other games that you'd recommend? I'm considering buying a DS just to kill some time, and I really like Mario Kart, when I tried it on a mate's DS, as well as one of the Marios where you can grow large when you eat a special kind of mushroom, though, IIRC, I finished that game.

Are there any interesting Mario Games?

Absolutely. Mario Kart is great, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is a real fun RPG, and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is pretty cool too. There's others but I'm not a *huge* Mario fan and don't know them all by heart.

Oh and GRiD is fun but kinda hard. They did a good job on the DS version overall though, just have to get use to the controls.

I have had a DS since it came out and I have bought 2 games for it. Portable gaming is just not my thing.

Nanostray I and II are both two of the most amazing games ever created (console and handheld). Also, consider Custom Robo, Puzzle Quest, and Worms World Party 2. Good stuff.

oh, and every first party game is good.

Yes, but when your batteries are drained, how are you going to recharge them, knowing that Ike has knocked out your AC electricity?

the first year it was out, the first iteration looked like shit and had horrible games. The DS really picked up the second year.

Hehe, I agree. I called it the Dead System because I thought it would die due to horrid games. Now I use it every day and my PSP is collecting dust somewhere under my desk.

Indeed, even some brand new RPG's coming out are quality. But yeah the FF rehashes especially are excellent so far, except Square needs to decide when and where the FF7 remake is going to happen. I can only wait so long!

Hopefully for the high-end systems. 360, PS3 and PC basically. Maybe the Wii if it can handle what I hope are great graphics.

I don't mind waiting as long as it's done correctly. I don't need someone doing a rushed job and ruining a classic.

Just got my Edge DS today. Epic win. Get it if you have a DS. That is all. Carry on.
