How Tall and how much Did Joseph McCarthy weigh in 1950?

Good Luck in your quest to earn an official venk cookie.

I'll post the answer later.

he was a senator who directed the communist witchhunt back in the early 1950's. A lot of people who were named had their lives ruined by this man.

I should've paid more attention in my US History class.... then again, I hate history. 🙂

I hold in my hand a bonified list of 100... no 154... no 143... oh sorry, no it's 214 communists in the US government.

Just what he weighed on any day that year, the exact number isn't as important as you proving that google can find this specific information. His height, obviously, would not have changed.

The hype of what he was doing far outweighed the accusations he was making. And there was a lot more truth to much (not all) of what he was saying. The declassification of the Venona report was claimed to have proven that there was a lot more to what he was saying than the citizen of the country were made aware. There was definately a communist presence in high place throughout our governement and there was a real threat there.

I have not read the entire report. I was not there at the time, so I cannot say exactly what was going on at the time. I do believe that a few people had their lives ruined by the McCarthy investigation that were innocent. It is my opinion that many people who got caught up in the McCarthy investigations were people who thought communism was the fashionable thing of the day, and not hard core believers. I also believe that there was a lot more going on that was covered up.

🙂
