At the heart of Reagan's foreign policy was the prevention of communist expansion.Reagan iced the cake, I'd say. His economic policies were designed to bakrupt the USSR and they did just that. Reaganomics decreased federal spending in other areas so that military could be strengthened and force the USSR to try and keep up, and ultimately overspend. Reagan forced the death of the USSR.
Rubbish. The Soviet Union fell because Gorbachev couldn't hold the system together and simultaneously reform the system. All Reagan did was blow the budget on war toys, order murder and war crimes in El Salvador and Nicaragua, oh, and successfully invade Grenada after cutting and running in Lebanon. Add treason to "ice the cake" and there is Reagan's legacy.

Yeah that's a total bullshit OP.

Let's have national recount and deal with dead and ineligible voters, ok?

You think there's less than 2.7 million? Oh no!

No. Fuck off.

Trump will be the best president in your lifetime, like it or not.

How many times do you plan to get banned this week?

You literally misspelled divisive. Lol.

Also, Obama is not responsible for the Republicans explicitly deciding to be divisive as an electoral strategy.

OK, So you are the spelling police.

And yes Obama does bear a good deal ( most of ) of responsibility for the divisiveness in America today.

Yes he does, in the same way you bear responsibility for the rise in stupidity in this country.

LOL @ leftloons bagging on Reagan for NOT getting us into some war in Lebanon.

Yeeeeeeaaaah riiight, that's EXACTLY what leftloons would have been down for. (And whatever insurgent/terrorist mess -inevitable anyway- you TOTALLY wouldn't then blame on the US and Reagan.)

...And I've got a bridge in Brooklyn for sale for anyone believes that.

Cut and run he did. Keep propping up that myth if you're short a father figure and a treasonous war criminal filled the void for you.

You loons are hilarious in meltdown mode. :D

Instead of just repeat leftloon bullshit like a good little parrot, how about you actually turn your brain on for a minute?

What US goal would have been served remaining in Lebanon? No bullshit loon answers... a real answer. Do you you even have the slightest clue what the conflict was about in the first place? Why would even further US involvement have served our interest rather than just been another M.E. boondoggle.

I look forward to you putting up a real answer or shutting up.

The conflict was a proxy war on behalf of Israel in it's fight with Syria and Iran. The real question was why did Reagan send those men to unnecessary deaths in the first place? There was no American interest threatened. Despite his stance that the troops would stay, he cut and ran anyway. Maybe an opening gift to grease the skids for the treasonous deal he cut to sell arms to Iran? Who knows?

Reagan's response to AIDS was barbaric on the level of Nero i agree
fify

Worst president ever. I think even Trump would have done more to stop an epidemic rather than to fuel it.

Reagan showed initiative by laughing at a comedian's AIDS joke, though. Good thing Bette Midler and Hillary Clinton were able to remind us of how great the Reagans' legacy was on HIV.
