Colin McRae Rally II is quite fun.

oh man, that is a great game. RalliSport Challenge (these are both Rally Racing games) is good too, but only up to 4 at a time, and while RalliSport > CMR2, in CMR2 you can see the people you're racing against, and you can run into them -->great fun 😀
Tried CMR3 yet? Better graphics, spiffy interface and more tracks, but no arcade mode. 🙁

yeah, it's great! but...only demo for PC so far, and it's only 1-2 players? That's what it says on ebgames...lame!
Um....I seem to have the full version....how'd that happen? 😕

Actually, it supports up to 4 persons, but there's either no head-to-head racing or I'm just too stupid to have figured out how to enable it yet.

:frown: "PC - July 15 2003" for people like me :frown:
You are evil to tell me such information 😛

I'd say Offroad. CMR 2 has a lot of detailed physics that will propably confuse the poor blighters.

And what's with violent games? Make a server of UT2K3 or Quake 3, then threaten that if they tell their parents you won't let them play any more....trust me. they'll be REEEEEEAAAAALLLLLLLYYYYYYYYY silent.

Isn't there a "non-gore" option in many of the FPS games (I know there is, but can't think which ones right now)? Would that be acceptable?

Fausto, think about what you're suggesting there.

You'd be incurring the wrath of a group whose members are both in the AMC and BTB.

(Angry Mother's Coalition and Bible Thumping Bitches.) 😛

Hey, I'm just trying to help.....for once. 😛

how about Martha Stewar Strike Force, using your powers of foresight you predict news as if from the inside. Bust your way out of jail in the standard jailbreak level collecting key cards and buying off security guards along the way....

or Clinton vs Harry Potter: Each secretly seeks to destroy the world supply of trees...

or Robert Cop 3...

i dun mind it at all, but i have a feeling the parents won't exactly be happy when their kid talks about a frag fest when asked about what computer stuff they learned at church ^^

any suggestions?

It would help a lot to know the ages of these kids and if they are boys or girls or mixture of both.

Diablo II would probably be a good game for church. You get to defeat the evil minions of hell, and you can force all the players to play as Paladins. 🙂

Racing games would probably be the only things worth playing on a LAN... There are also board games (checkers, chess, etc.) but playing those on a LAN instead of just getting out a checkerboard is just pitiful (IMHO)

ROTFL!

True, but you could say the same about Doom. And something tells me the wholesale slaughter of various human-like creatures, including the scantily-clad zombie women, and their cries of ecstacy--uh, pain & death--wouldn't jibe with some folks. Not to mention the extensive dabbling in the 'black arts' that one of the 'heroes' apparently does. 🙂
