A good music app that just plain sounds great?

It seems most of the good music programs out there have gotten really bloated-well Musicmatch was always pretty bloated but at least gave you great sound (unlike RealPlayer which always sounded like sh--) but now even the latest version of Winamp--which many moons ago offered good quality sound without countless unnecessary features and services--is total bloatware, so I'm just wondering which app. are people liking most for quality playback? thanks...

I tried foobar2000 but I never liked the interface. I just use winamp

i still find it hard to believe anyone would actually prefer winamp's archaic interface to colums_UI. now interface became one of the biggest reasons I will stick with fb2k till something better comes out (which i doubt)
