A good CD drive?

I was wondering what cheap nice CD drive I could put in my new build, I was just wondering if http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827135204 Might be a good pick. Im only really using to install windows 7 of course, and maybe a few games. Im obviously going to be still using it in the future, but this could work as just my simple drive right?

Too expensive. Look for one with free shipping... I see they currently have an LG for $19 with free shipping, versus $20+$5 shipping for the Asus you linked to.

Basically, DVD writers are cheap and disposable, and hardly used.

I usually get Samsung, LG or Sony.

Here's a Lite-ON for $17 w/ free shipping. Lite-ON is the OEM for a lot of other brands, so you don't have to worry about the quality.

The Samsung 22X @ $16 shipped is of course the way to go, assuming you're installing it in a PC with SATA connections.

They are all about the same but shipping does factor into the price. You might also be able to combo the cd drive with something else for a good deal too so look into that.

Also a little birdy told me that there will be a good deal on cyber monday for cd drives so I would wait tell then for your order. If not you aren't saving much so no worries =D.
