Can anyone please tell me which Bot program for CS is the best out there right now? Also, I'm having a terrible time locating sites for bot programs on google - probably just don't know exactly what to search for. If anyone would be so kind, could you post a link to such a site? Thanks in advance.

I use to play a lot of CS but with the addition of Steam they were suppose to bring it's own bots but didn't. I don't know if the older bot programs work but I used Podbot before Steam and that worked fine don't know about now since I don't play anymore. GL finding one.

Eh? What does running bots on your cs have to do with cheating?
If there is something else going on here, I don't get it.

Someone seems to be screwed up here, and I don't believe it's me.

There are two kinds of bots. Bots you use online (cheating) and bots that let you play single player or small groups against bot opponents (set-up local server, add bots, enjoy).

Mwilding obviously assumes everyone wants to use the former. Thus the self-righteous "penalizing" link (reminder: everyone should learn to mouse-over).

Yes, that is what I suspected.

I have been playing CS since shortly after it came out and have been running a CS 1.5 dedicated server for the past 4 or 5 years.
See my CS Server website if interested.

In the vernacular of CS, bots always refer to AI that you add to your server, be it a listen server or a dedicated server to fill up the available slots and provide extra "players" to play against.

It is quite clear that the 1st and 3rd posts in this thread are referring to bots in this sense.

I would certainly appreciate if if the mods would take a look at what is going on here.
The AT Forums have really been going to the dogs lately.:|
