I had a 15" LCD from Relysis for almost 6 months and just recently I sold it to a friend for $220 ($330 when I got it) and now I'm planning to use that money I got and just add a little bit more (say $100?) to get a good and decent CRT. I looked and to me I like CRT's with the Trinitron tubes... Any ideaz or suggestionz of what kind of 19" would fit my system? Esp. in gaming? Thank yall appreciate it :)

I wonder why people ask for a gaming monitor? Why would a high end monitor that gives great color and contrast not work well for games? It's beyond me...if the monitor gives good color it'll display what you need it to like speakers. You can have the best speakers in the world, but they'll only sound as good as the music you play through them.

That being said i have a Viewsonix PF790 19" monitor. Love it.

Look for reviews of the LG 915FT + and see why it's unique, no tension wires like trinitron tubes, but not Shadow mask!

my brother has the Sony-CPDG420 which is a Flat Display Trinitron Tube...I think it's great! I myself have the CPD-G220 which is the 17inch version of the above with lower max resolutions :)

the above retails for around $400 though

I use my LG 915FT Flatron plus for gaming and it`s great value for money, having 4 USB ports and BNC connectors built-in is also a plus point, yes no AG wires on screen ;),.

Check over in the Hot Deals Forum as there is a nice deal going on right now for a Dell P991 or M991 (Sony Trinitron tube) for under $300 shipped.

Seems to be a very popular and well liked model.

I still absolutely love my Samsung SyncMaster 950p. 1280x1024 @ 85hz, cons are 1600x1200 at only 75hz.

Plus these are going for around $180 now. Sigh, and I payed $280.

I swear by my Mitsubishi diamond pro 920. But then again, it's in my bedroom and I tend to cuss when I'm having sex. LOL :D

But seriously, it's the BEST monitor I've even seen. Kinda expensive, but you get what yoiu pay for. :)
