A glitch in 3DMark 2001se?

Alright. I was in here before talking about how my 3DMark score didn't improve when I upgraded to more RAM. But I'm not here to discuss that. Since then, I upgraded my motherboard, my SCSI card, and processor, except that my processor is currently running SLOWER than my previous processor. I had a 1900+ pally and I "upgraded" to a 1700+ T-Bred B. I plan on overclocking it, but right now it's at stock speeds. I had previously gotten 4565 3D Marks. Previously, at 1280 x 1024 @ 32bit color, I got 4565, and at 640 x 480 @ 32bit color, I got 6030. Now, at 1024 x 768 @ 32bit color, I got 7082 3DMarks. That's a ridiculous increase for just a chipset change and SCSI card change.

Is this even possible? Is there something wrong with 3DMark?

I just pushed my system up to a 200MHz FSB and my proc up to 2.0 GHz, and now I'm getting 7812 with the same settings. Incredible. It's like I was missing something wonderful before.

Surely something is wrong with this.

But I won't have anything to compare it to. Will I? I'll grab the UT 2k3 bench from HardOCP and see what I get. Do you know what I should expect?

Scratch that, I don't have the original UT 2k3, so I'm going to run the RtCW Checkpoint MP demo and see what I get. However, I'm now running at 2.1GHz with a 200MHz FSB.

Well, I can honestly say that I'm a novice at this because I don't know how they're getting frame rates for this. Any ideas?
