A gift for a friend... doesn't want a knife or a flashlight.

Zeze

Lifer
A groomsmen gift... this one kid has both and wants neither.

What should I get him? Budget is $40~.

I looked at Swiss army knife.. looks pretty unimpressive and very small at $40.

Anything guy related.... crap you may find in Brookstone. A nice pen? I don't know.

I guess I don't understand bizarro-world where people tell you what gifts they would be willing to accept.

Lump of coal for you bitch.

I can see your dilemma, I'm pretty sure there are some models with built in flashlights so you don't have to get him a knife or a flashlight.

A light saber may also work.

can't really get a quality watch for ~$40 imo and some people use their phones for timekeeping instead of a watch... 40 bucks can definitely get you a nice flask though.

Flask is a great idea! I got him a nice one + whiskey stones.

Thanks ATOT, even through few bad responses, you pulled through- as always.

I was going to suggest a pewter tankard but it looks like you already got a flask. they seem to go for from $30 on up.

I demand the right to waste my money by giving people stuff they don't want! Fuck them for being honest! Selfish fools

that would be awesome if OP's fiance walked down the aisle to a row of groomsmen saluting her with their fleshlights

a flask? pft.

I got one too. it is a nice leather bound one with my initials on it. It has sat empty on my desk for 8 years...

now something like..hmm i know! a Fleshlight! that would get used!

I got Leatherman Juice series for my groomsmen. Was supposed to be inscribed with their names, but the lady at the jeweler didn't bother telling me it would look like shit, so the bought me new ones that I didn't have time to get personalized.

Apparently anodized aluminum has to be laser etched.

Option 1: (if somebody were getting me a gift, I would go with something similar to this, however, I already ordered what I am about to suggest.)

Go to Cigars International
Buy him one of the 5 packs that comes with a herfador and a lighter
They are $40.

The Bugatti lighter that comes with them is pretty impressive.

If your friend isn't really a cigar smoker, or if you aren't sure what types of cigars he prefers to smoke, I would recommend the Acid Kuba Kubas, they are infused so he will like the taste even if he's not after a cigar/leathery/earthy type taste. They are manly infused cigars though, so, for a guy who enjoys "real" cigars, these are STILL good.

I'm not going to link it here, but, I believe the deal is "El Gordo #42."

Option 2: What is his favorite saw? Get him some extra blades for his circ saw or table saw or whatever. Or oil and new chains for his chainsaw.

Option 3: Drill Bits!
