I read in a somewhere recently (AT forum or Newegg review...not sure) where someone said that motherboard manufacturers Foxconn are the ones responsible for making Intel's motherboards (including Bad Axe).

1. Is this true?
2. Shouldn't Foxconn motherboards then be of similar quality to Intel boards?
3. Based on the answers to the questions above, is the following board a viable option for me at this point?

Foxconn P9657AA-8KS2H

This particular board is very solid, limited overclocking, and is one of the first of many $100 or under P965 boards that will hit the market over the coming months. Yes, Foxconn is one of the manufacturers of Intel boards, Intel designs the board and bios, sends it out for manufacture. Quality is dependent upon the components specs utilized on the board.

Well thanks Gary for clearing that up for me.
I guess right now the only decision to make is between this board (which i now prefer) and the GA-945P-S3.
That's if i can't fix my ASRock BIOS chip...lol.
